I had the pleasure of working with a true event planning genius this past year and her name is Paula Woods, owner of 14 & Hudson located in Piermont, NY. Her husband, Eric Woods, is the chef/owner and they are for sure a power couple. With his skills in the kitchen and hers in the party room, they can take on the world! This past September they had 2 beautiful weddings, both planned and decorated by Paula with a little stationery help from me. I designed custom artwork for the menu cards, table signs, chalkboard signs and all the other pretty paperwork in the room, adding a few small details to a big day.

The first wedding was a rustic woodland theme and Paula nailed it. She is a floral designing genius and her arrangements will take your breath away. Above you’ll see the tables were organized by important words that held meaning to the couple as opposed to numbers. They used words like friendship, trust and love.

You can see more photos by the fabulous photographer here:

The second wedding was all about romantic elegance with big dinner plate dahlias, blush pink roses and seeded eucalyptus. An intimate group of family and friends made for a cozy and love filled evening.

Heather, the bride wanted a watercolor floral design around her and her fiancé’s (Scott) initials for the menus and signs as shown below.

I’m looking forward to a new year, new wedding season and new love to be celebrated.

Thanks for reading! My name is Stephanie and I want to say hello! to anyone that takes a peek at my site. I began designing stationery around the time I got engaged. I was so inspired to design something special to represent my relationship with John (my now husband) and what we hoped to share with our loved ones, it sparked a passion to make the same thing happen for others too. Follow along the journey of my blog to see the custom projects I create for the couples out there who like to think outside of the box and make their wedding entirely and completely their own.
