Natalie and Michael said their I do’s in Cartagena, Colombia where Natalie’s mother is from. The connection made every detail extra special. Working with Natalie and learning more and more about this beautiful city and country was my idea of a history class. Colombia has over 20 orchid variations and they are well known for their fresh grown fruit which happens to be, my favorite food. It was one unique detail after another bringing their wedding stationery to life. See the magic below!

A great starting point for a destination wedding is a scenery painting to really set the scene, if you will. We want to entice our guests to make the trip and what better way to do that than with visuals?

The primary goal of this stationery suite was to capture the beauty of Cartagena, Colombia. We honed in on the beautiful colors, fruits, foliage and cultural bits such as our iconic fruit lady seen on the round card. The venue itself had these beautiful arches on the terrace so choosing that shape for the invitation card was like a little easter egg. So much attention to detail went into this beautiful suite!

When a couple expresses the desire to visually outline the location of their wedding for their guests, a custom watercolor map is our go to! Not only does it do the job but it makes an amazing keepsake. Many of my couples enjoy framing this artwork to hang in their home after the wedding is over.

step one
Fill out the inquiry form + schedule an optional 15-minute inquiry call with us.
step Two
Quote: Receive and review your quote.
Step Three
Move forward — You’ll receive your contract and an invoice to pay your 50% deposit. From there, you’ll schedule a 30-minute design kick-off call with me! Following the call, we’ll send you a verbiage intake form and an address sheet so you can share all the accurate event information needed for your stationery and envelope addressing.
Step four
Brainstorming & Sketching — The fun begins! I’ll begin brainstorming and sketching to present you with your first proof. You get up to three proofs to ensure your vision is met before the painting begins.
Step five
Painting — I’ll start painting your vision to life! As with the brainstorming portion of the project, you are allotted three proofs to ensure your full-picture vision is met and all verbiage is accurate. Any additional proof required after the third will incur a fee.
Step six
Printing & Production — You sign off on your final proof and I’ll begin formatting all your stationery files to be sent to print.
Step Seven
Assembly & Mailing — We’ll receive all the final stationery and any agreed-upon embellishments for assembly in the studio before sending your wedding invitations out to be mailed!
