Meredith + Hubert found unexpected love in Portugal. After being set up on a blind date that they thought would almost be a practice date for all the future dates to come as they got back out there, Meredith described it as a love at first site by the end of that date and the test was history. They traveled to Porto and fell in love with the city and each other. A modern day fairytale. So it only made sense to have their wedding in Porto and personalizing their stationery was top priority.

She started the design off with a personalized cityscape painting of Porto to set the scene for the wedding that Meredith + Hubert hoped all their family and friends would travel for. Visuals are important when convincing people to take a trip and how could this view not entice you, right?

invitation suite
See you in Porto! A romantic, cultural immersion invitation suite design. First, a square invite with a custom, decorative crest and a coordinating watercolor map design to share more of Porto, so all the guests could see the run down in one place. Playing with layers and shapes is one of our favorite ways to add a unique touch so the blush pink, diamond cut out card that was tied around the invitation and map was both fun and functional. On the back side is a QR code to the wedding website and RSVP information. Tying it altogether, Stephanie pulled the blue specifically seen in all the blue tile work in Porto to paint a scenery illustration from the venue grounds.

step one
Fill out the inquiry form + schedule an optional 15-minute inquiry call with us.
step Two
Quote: Receive and review your quote.
Step Three
Move forward — You’ll receive your contract and an invoice to pay your 50% deposit. From there, you’ll schedule a 30-minute design kick-off call with me! Following the call, we’ll send you a verbiage intake form and an address sheet so you can share all the accurate event information needed for your stationery and envelope addressing.
Step four
Brainstorming & Sketching — The fun begins! I’ll begin brainstorming and sketching to present you with your first proof. You get up to three proofs to ensure your vision is met before the painting begins.
Step five
Painting — I’ll start painting your vision to life! As with the brainstorming portion of the project, you are allotted three proofs to ensure your full-picture vision is met and all verbiage is accurate. Any additional proof required after the third will incur a fee.
Step six
Printing & Production — You sign off on your final proof and I’ll begin formatting all your stationery files to be sent to print.
Step Seven
Assembly & Mailing — We’ll receive all the final stationery and any agreed-upon embellishments for assembly in the studio before sending your wedding invitations out to be mailed!
